So it turns out Chloe is allergic to egg whites... Good thing I tricked her into eating something she didn't even want in the first place by masking it with ketchup.
Sigh.
At least we know. She's been having some, let's say, tummy troubles... The doctor was concerned that she might have Celiac Disease. I was horrified that she might be right. I am PRAISING GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW that she doesn't have it. Seriously, that would have been less than fun.
So, we'll deal with the egg issue, pray that she grows out of it, and in the meantime, search high and low for a pancake recipes that doesn't call for eggs.
Speaking of pancakes, we triple HEART this recipe, which is definitely Must Share worthy. These cakes are simply divine. I'm not even exaggerating. Unless you like thin, wimpy pancakes, which by the way are called crepes.
Anyway - to all of you Mother's Of The Year, I will not be seeing you at the after party. For the rest of you common folk who do your best and still make mistakes, the party is at my place.

PRAISE GOD!!!! Yay, I'm soooo happy (and relieved, for you!!!) that she doesn't have anything worse than a simple food allergy! Egg whites...no biggie...that beats being allergic to all dairy!
ReplyDeleteYa know what's funny? Dom is allergic to milk and eggs...but he is able to eat it. We are very careful though when his asthma is flared up as this is just one of those little triggers that compounds. So hopefully she will "outgrow" it or at least be able to tolerate the egg whites a little better as she gets older.
Oh I'm sooo happy for you guys...Yay Jesus!
